Shock-Dingo's News

Hey guys! Not sure anyone reads these but I felt I should finally post something; I haven't posted much of anything well before the redesign.

This has been a pretty good week so far; first of all, Steinberg released the awesome "Dinosaur Animation" this week; features his art and script and my vocals for the two dinosaurs. It's a humorous 6 minute tale of two friends and a few misadventures. Much thanks to Steinberg for choosing me to be a part of that flash! His direction and script gave me a lot to work with. I'm rather happy with how it turned out

Second is War of the Shyguys by Eastbeast. It's a sprite tale of adventure in the skies! I know some people are polarized when it comes to sprite flashes, but I recommend giving it a shot. It's got a great deal of heart put into the animation as well as the presentation. This isn't a simple cut and past job, but an actual flick. Again, I was honored to be chosen to be part of an awesome cast. In this flick I voice Goombario.

One thing that I really was happy about in these two flashes was I got a chance to utilize a higher vocal registry. Usually I'm picked for the deep voiced henchman, maniacal villain, or the windback old wizard or narrator. So this chance to voice higher voiced and even younger characters was a real treat. Even though there was some post production adjustment on my voice for Goombario (was to get that right tone) I still feel a bit more comfortable trying out for the lighter/younger voices.

Oh and this has been out for a while, but I did a Mic-Spam clip (stole the term from a pal heh) of Eddie Brock in the style of some fancy Capcom "extra mode" for the fictional, "Marvel Super Heroes 2: Darkness Falls" game. It's worth a shot if you're bored. I based Brock/ Venom's voice on Hank Azaria's version from the 90s Spider-man toon.

Huh, this is a long one. I don't usually write in these, but I hope my next update is entertaining heh. By next entry, I hope to have some more roles come out and hopefully a new and better quality demo.

All the best and take care!

Greetings guys and girls. Today is a rather awesome day. The latest episode of R1665's popular flash series VG Exiles has been released! All the wait is over for a rather exciting romp. It features the excellent talents of R1665 and CE-Rap, Antfish, Rina-Chan, Hnilmik, DarkWolf, dragonknighttara, Ebonyte and Tomamoto.

It's a great combo of insane sprite choreography, excellent art direction and great audio to make it all something unique.

I feel honored to have been in a feature with all these talented folks. It was fun and I look forward to whatever the future brings. Anyways, I'll stop blabbing and post the link:

VG Exiles- Episode 3: Shadowlawless

Until next time reader, take care.

It's been a while since I made a post; I didn't really think there was that much about me me to mention, really. I have been appearing in more and more flashes these days, so I'm happy about that. The latest is the latest chapter in an ol' NG favorite

Resident Evil Code: Pwanchi Part 1 can br viewed here

It's quite good and a bunch of fun. I play Leon in this and am happy to be involved with a great cast. Everyone is on top of their game. :)

----------------
As I mentioned before, I've been getting more roles and seeing their releases over here. Some of these releases include:

Staff Sumo Smackdown (I'm the announcer)

Hunters - Stage 3 (Draco; Dragon boss)

Hunters - Stage 6 (Draco and Rigel in the ending)

--------
Oh yea, I've also been keeping busy with audio contributions to the portal.

Since I love Deadpool and wanted to try a different approach to the character I created Mighty Marvel Moments ep 1

I also won the New Grounds Voice Acting Competition from a bit back with this entry. It's kinda out there, but heh, that's how I like it.

Well thanks for stopping by reader and have a nice day. :)
Until next time!

Hey guys...err, anyone who actually checks out this page, I recently put together a quick monologue. Within the clip you'll witness jealousy, slipping into madness, and porkchops...wait, forget the last one.

If you're bored, be sure to check it out, if you're not bored....uh, get a sandwich, get bored and then check it out.

Greetings readers, I recently got a Samson C01U Mic and decided to start experimenting with it. I recently made an audio narration of Garth Ennis' Welcome Back, Frank--the story the deals with ol' Frank's return to the world of the living. You can check that out over here!

Since I have a new mic I shall be auditioning for more projects around here. Now, most of you may not know who I am, I've been around here for a bit, but am slowly working my way up. I've provided voices for the amazing VG EXILES ep2 (As Charlie) , RedHarvest's Madness: Genesis, The Charlie Brown Murders (as the Doctor), Various voices for the Game Trailer Collab, The amazing Lady Noir Collab,Visor in Tankmen: Dual Part 1 and Tankmen: Dual part 2

Anyways, enough of my self promotion, I hopefully will see you guys around NG.

Take care and all the best guys!

It's something you wont regret.

Greetings from ol' Shockdingo everyone! I hope you've been enjoying your Pico Day and weekend so far. I just wanted to let people know that Tankmen: Dual by Jonathan Wrathborne is out and it's amazing! It's got humor, a coherent story, slick animation and amazing fight choreography!

I was glad to be a part of an amazing project; in this I play Visor, the foul, moody, scratchy voiced member of the Tankmen. But, enough of that, you're not watching the flash for my voice, you're watching for the great quality of the product produced by Jonathan. I'm sure you'll love it!

Well, that's all for now guys, until next time. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Metal Gear: Mantis Fail came out today, it's a short and fun flash by SykeMind I play Psycho Mantis and Snake in it. I didn't bother to go with a David Hayter impression, because it sounded silly when I tried it. I mean like REALLY silly. So I went with a standard Shockdingo gruff voice. :P I really enjoyed the way Mantis was written in this; it's always nice to see him goofy and unhinged. Anyways guys, check it out and have a nice weekend evening! Oh and one last thing:
.......You like to play Halo ODST!!!...or was that Double Dragon....Super Street Fighter 4? So much for being psychic....

I just wanted to let everyone know that VG Exiles Episode 2by R1665 is currently out. I'm honored and thankful to have provided my voice in this piece. I highly recommend everyone to check it out; it actually has a branching storyline, fantastic fluidly animated fights with dazzling choreography and unique presentation. This truly looks like there was a lot of love and hard work put into the production of this. So what are you waiting for? Stop reading my inane blabbings and check it out! It's good clean (*cough*violent*cough*) fun! And everyone loves fun. :)

Until next time guys, all the best to you!

I've been around Newgrounds for years, but I never voiced in many things here thus I'm sure most people have no idea who I am. Most of my voice work was distributed elsewhere on the vastness of the internet...or something poetic like that heh. Recently I was just killing time on NG and saw that there was a Street Fighter collab and it was picking up some steam. Loving Capcom properties for years, I naturally became eager to become a part of this in some form. (Since I'm not a flash artist, but a voice actor). I saw that a few artists were in need of voices and decided to try out. I'm currently now lending my voice to these great guys, Master-Samus, Dylawrence , and I-smel. From what I've seen so far of their work and others, it looks like this will be another fun collab. I hope that this gets me a bit of exposure so that I'll get to work on some great projects in the future. :)
